NOTICE:
TO INVESTORS AND CREDITORS OF ESTATE FINANCIAL INC. ("EFI")
AND ESTATE FINANCIAL MORTGAGE FUND ("EFMF")


On July 1, 2008, EFMF filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.  On June 25, 2008, several creditors of EFI filed an involuntary petition under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and EFI consented to the bankruptcy filing on July 16, 2008.  The two cases are pending in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, Northern Division.  They each have their own case number:

On July 23, 2008, Judge Robin Riblet ordered the appointment of a Chapter 11 trustee in both cases.  On July 25, 2008, Judge Riblet approved the Office of the U.S. Trustee’s appointment of the undersigned as trustees in the respective cases:
